# Privacy

Short version: what you enter, and where you walked, stays on your device.

## What you type and open

Distances, paces, weights, heights, plans, coordinates and GPX files are processed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. They are not uploaded, logged or stored on any server. A GPX file is read from your disk by the browser and never leaves it.

## Your location

The site never asks for your location. The sunrise page uses only the city or coordinates you choose, and the GPX viewer draws routes without map tiles, so no map server learns where you walked.

## Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. It never receives what you type, paste or drop into the tools. There are no other analytics, ads or trackers.

## Cookies and storage

The site sets no cookies. Your theme choice and the settings of some tools (for example your height on the steps page, your weight on the calorie page and your plan on the walk planner) are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. They never leave your device; clearing the site's data removes them.

## Share links

A walking-time link carries its settings in the address. A walk planner link carries the plan after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers. Either only goes where you send it.

## Network access

The site's Content-Security-Policy allows connections only to this site and to Cloudflare's analytics endpoint, so the pages could not send your data elsewhere even by mistake.

## Links to other sites

Links to sister sites, WebTraceCheck and CleanTempMail are ordinary links. Nothing is shared with them unless you follow a link, and then their own privacy terms apply.
